Do I have to be a member to play at Jaxx?
As we are a private member club, everyone needs to sign in as a member or guest to enter.
Why do I have to become a member?
It allows us to maintain a safe environment for our customers, and allows us to know who’s using our tables.
Do I get a membership card?
Yes, we try to get your membership to you while you play, but sometimes you will receive it on your 2nd visit, usually if you sign up during busy periods.
I’ve lost my membership card. What do I do?
Staff at Jaxx will be able to issue you a new card. Alternatively you can sign up for our new Jaxx App which can be used as a membership card.
Can I use my membership in Jaxx Belper?
Yes you can! We are now fully linked.
Do I need to bring ID?
You don’t need ID to sign up, as we take member photos for ID verification. However a valid NUS/student card will be required for student membership discount. Keep in mind you will need ID if you wish to purchase/use age restricted products. We operate a challenge 25 policy, and no exceptions will be made.
Should I book in advance?
You can just show up, and if we have availability we are happy to accommodate you. However we do recommend booking during our busy periods. You can book over the phone, online, or using our new Jaxx App.
How do I change a booking?
If you are running late or need to change your booking, please call us on 01332 296697, and our staff will be happy to help. Please note if a booking is more than 15 minutes late we may give your table away.
What ages can play at Jaxx?
While we have no restrictions, younger players should be able to reasonably reach the pool tables without causing damage, and should be kept under supervision. We have smaller cues on request too!
What time are under 18s allowed in until?
Without an appropriate adult, under 18s are allowed in until 7.30pm. With an adult they are allowed in until 9pm.
Do you supply cues and darts?
Yes! we supply cues, chalk and darts free of charge. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.
